Though being a blob can seem like a drawback, it benefits the Blobfish’s way of existence. However, they live in depths as deep as 4000 feet. This deep-sea animal always inhabits depths greater than 1600 feet in an environment of exceptionally high pressure. According to a public poll conducted by the Ugly Animal Preservation Society, this drooping, slimy fish with a gelatinous appearance is one of the ugliest fish in the entire world. The oceans’ gloomy depths in the Atlantic, Pacific, and Indian oceans are home to Blobfish.
